Scale the great walls to your advantage
Use the added height of the fortress walls to escape the Zombies’ grasp, dump cauldrons of hot tar onto enemies below, and gain superior line of sight!

Arm yourself to the teeth
Command a retinue of guards to push back against the Zombie Horde and use unique Survivor skills to bolster their abilities.

Melee Attack… From a distance
Cut down the Zombie horde with shiny new polearm-type weapons. Melee without ever having to get in close range!

Freeze Zombies dead in their tracks!
Draw on the surrounding icy elements and channel it towards your foes preventing them from taking any actions.

Mind the ruin zones
The constant zombie siege has wrought devastation onto the lands. Crumbling buildings offer little to search for, yet remain challenging to shoot through.

And stop the corruption!
Necromancers send waves of corruption close to the beacon to steal its power and spawn zombies each time they activate. If the beacon gets corrupted, all hope is lost!

– If you don’t own the base game: you can play The Council solo or in pair (competitively, with the Overlord module).
– If you own the base game: you can play The Council solo (with a much greater variety of cards), cooperatively (with two or three players), or competitively (with two, three or four players, thanks to the Overlord module).

In The Council, play as an adventurer who arrives in a doomed city, lost in the hands of a power-crazed regent, and his council who orchestrates dark manipulations in the shadows.

Wander the dark, randomly-generated alleyways, card after card, encounter ever more terrifying encounters, manage your resources and upgrade your skills by gaining levels to meet the greatest challenge of all: defeating the King’s Remains!

All Council content is compatible with the Mini Rogue base game.

The game also includes a campaign, which follows on from the base game campaign (but can be played without having played the previous campaign).

• Delving cards test your risk-taking tendencies in between areas.
• Torments grant you a small bonus in order to smother the evergrowing madness flooding you. Contain it or you’ll face your tormentor!
• Cursed Jewelry give you access to extra abilities that you can refresh at a cost.
• Scrolls are very powerful tools, but you cannot control which one will come to you.

Finally, the new Character, Rooms and final Boss will bring even more hype and replayability to your games!

The players must choose how to spend their resources to be powerful enough to confront ever more difficult monsters and hazards. Randomly generated levels and encounters make every playthrough a unique experience!

This expansion contains all the characters from the base game, the Council, and from the Depths of Damnation, the Old Gods, Mountain of Torments, and Forgotten Guardians expansions, all re-illustrated by artist Nicolas Roblin and each character slightly changed from their original. They may have different starting stats, and they will have one of their skills reworked! They come from an outer world, after all.

Beyond the Portal also includes two new characters: The Occultist and her soul syphon, and the Tinkerer and his skill to disarm traps!
